Currently, the lead story about the <a href=\"http:\/\/news.yahoo.com\/news?tmpl=story&#038;u=\/afp\/20040923\/pl_afp\/us_cia_goss_040923070637\">confirmation of Porter Goss<\/a> as CIA chief on <a href=\"http:\/\/news.google.com\/?ned=us&#038;topic=n\">Google News&#8217; U.S. page<\/a> is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailykos.com\/story\/2004\/9\/23\/22210\/8903\">this<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Okay, I&#8217;m not a fan of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailykos.com\/\">Daily Kos<\/a>.  Sure, it&#8217;s the top liberal blog in terms of traffic, but I have not been impressed during my handful of visits.  He&#8217;s well written, but strikes me as trapped in his Berkeley mindset and his commenters make the site Kool-Aid Central.  Definitely behind the curve, actually way late in hitting the road while chilling in Denialville, on the Rathergate story.<\/p>\n<p>Despite this, I wonder how long until including established blogs side-by-side with MSM outlets becomes a regular practice at Google News.
