We’ve had sleet and freezing rain most of the afternoon here in Dallas. The street’s are icy; it’s 25 degrees with a cold north wind blowing briskly. Predictions call for an inch or two of snow overnight.
I hate winter.
Especially as a dog owner living in an apartment. That last walk of the night is really going to suck.
Oh well, time for a workout. Later, y’all.

Every bridge I crossed on the way home from work was iced over. Surface roads were just wet, but a steady mist was falling and the temperature is still dropping. I think you’ll get the worse, though.
I don’t know if you work with any “Northerners”, but I love listening to them around the company telling us Texans that we don’t know how to drive on snow and ice.
No? Really? Could it have anything to do with a complete lack of SNOW in Texas! Come one down, for two days ONLY, trucks on ice!
You should see how many of these expert winter weather drivers went home early today, to “avoid the weather”.
In case you are not a Texan, here is how it works. Texas is warm. When Texas is cold it is not that cold for that long. So the ground never freeze here and if we get any snow, it must have ice under it or it just melts. We do not use salt or have snow plows.
Although I’m sure I’m just playing to ViceGrip’s stereotype, 25 degrees in December is not cold, Gunner.
Of course, you just need to wait another six months and then chastise me for complaining about how hot it is in Toronto.
Well fun is over. Ice is all but gone. Should have nice weather for the weekend. Can you believe this happen during the week and not on the weekend like usual.
What? Is it still Winter in Canada?
