Okay, I’ve got next to nothing tonight, so it seems a perfect evening to remind myself that this is just a hobby and go watch another episode of Firefly, which Santa hooked me up with after I gushed over the movie Serenity.
Still, I don’t want to leave y’all empty-handed, so here’s a suggestion to rewrite the American military enlistment oath by personalizing it for each branch (hat tip to Blackfive). I chuckled and hope you will too.

Haha, I loved the Air Force one…so true, so true.
As for Firefly, I suggest (in no particular order) Our Mrs. Reynolds, Jaynestown, and War Stories, unless of course you are watching them in order. That’s cool too; I just consider these three to be the best episodes.
Also, I can’t remember if you watch BSG, but if you don’t, you should. Best show on TV, by far.
To Firefly, I’m watching in order of the DVD and tonight was “Our Mrs. Reynolds.” Just how the heck did this show fail?!! How did I not even have a hint about it while it was on?!!
As to BSG, run a search on here. I’ve pimped it out a’plenty. It truly is the best thing on TV right now. I spent the early part of season 2 getting the fiancee hooked on it. Not tough; just a night with her and the miniseries. I then handed her the season 1 DVDs, taped a bit, and she’s caught up now.
If you thought Our Mrs. Reynolds was good, just wait till you see Trash.
