The author of the entertaining and highly successful Harry Potter series has disclosed the release date of the next volume.
Harry Potter author JK Rowling gave fans an early Christmas gift yesterday by revealing her new book will be published on July 16.
JK, 39, was not expected to unveil the date for Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince until Christmas Day.
But yesterday she said on her website, which is designed like a desk: “I was sure those of you who celebrate Christmas have better things to do on the day itself than fight your way into my study, whereas those of you who don’t celebrate Christmas would definitely prefer not to wait until the 25th.â€
Well, looks like July 15, 2005, will be another late night at Barnes & Noble with the girlfriend.

I am actually looking for the release date of the 7th book in the harry potter series. 2005 is long gone do we have hope for a new harry potter in 2007?

it being released on July 7th 2007 makes sense, but all i know from one of my friends is that it IS coming out in 2007, Krum is in it, Harry obviously faces Voldemort, someone dies i guess it is someone important, you see Bills wedding and you learn more about Dumbledores past, and find out who R.A.B is.
I heard it doesn’t come out until 2007 also. I went to a book store in the mall and the clerk told me that it’s not expected until then. I was heartbroken! I love the books so much. The movies are cool because it’s cool to see the aspects of the book actualized. If only the movies would have as much detail. Anyway I can’t wait until 2007! I hope it comes out early in the year.

It has been anounced by J.K. herself that Harry will not die in book 7. R.A.B. most likely stands for Regulus A. Black. Sirius’s brother. You will remember in book five that nobody could open a locket.
Major annoucement i read on a site that ron and voldamort are the two that die and it turns out that harry marries hermonie just like james and lily and ginny marries draco cause he saves harry’s life

the last word in the book is scar. i just read about it in another web site, it states that rowling said herself that the last chapter is already written and the last word of the title is “SCAR”
